“Somebody Up There Likes Me” is a personal memoir about my family and the discovery that my mum was a carrier for the deadly illness Huntington’s Disease. It’s a story about life, death and facing your darkest fears, and what I learned in the process of caring for my brother. Although the subject matter is very specific, it’s also a story about relationships and the search for purpose and connection. In the end, it mostly boils down to love.
